AFRICA 

Burundi: Mpox outbreak, avoid contact with sick people 

Congo (DRC): Cholera outbreak, select safe food and water, consider vaccination 

Ethiopia: Malaria outbreak, avoid mosquito bites, consider preventive medication 

Ghana: Meningitis in Upper West region, vaccination recommended, follow hygiene measures

Namibia: Increased malaria in northern regions, avoid mosquito bites and consider preventive medication 

Nigeria: Lassa fever, maintain strict hygiene measures and avoid contact with sick people

Rwanda: Mpox outbreak, avoid contact with sick people 

Sierra Leone: Lassa fever, maintain strict hygiene measures and avoid contact with sick people. Mpox outbreak, avoid contact with sick people. 

South Africa: Hand, foot and mouth disease in Durban city, pay attention to hygiene. Increase in diphtheria infections, ensure vaccination is up to date. 

Sudan: Increase in cholera in White Nile state, select safe food and water, consider vaccination

Togo: Meningitis detected in Kara region, vaccination recommended, follow hygiene measures Uganda: Cholera outbreak in Lamwo district, select safe food and water, consider vaccination. Mpox infections, avoid contact with sick people. 

Zambia: Cholera outbreak, select safe food and water, consider vaccination. Mpox outbreak, avoid contact with sick people. 

Bolivia: Increasing pertussis in Santa Cruz department, check vaccination status 

Brazil: Carnival season, complete pre-travel health check, follow hygiene measures, prevent insect bites. Increase in insect-borne diseases, avoid insect bites. 

Canada: Measles outbreaks in several provinces, check vaccination status 

Colombia: Yellow fever in Tolima department, vaccination recommended, avoid mosquito bites

Panama: Oropouche fever outbreak, avoid insect bites, reconsider travel if pregnant 

United States: Human bird flu infection in Wyoming and Ohio states, avoid contact with infected birds and animals. Imported mpox infections in New Hampshire and New York states, monitor developments. Increase in seasonal influenza, ensure vaccination is up to date, follow hygiene measures. 

Asia & the Pacific: Bird flu infections in several provinces, avoid contact with birds, follow hygiene measures 

Australia: Dengue in Townsville, avoid mosquito bites. Increase in melioidosis in Far North Queensland, avoid contact with contaminated water, mud or soil. Increased Japanese encephalitis risk in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria, avoid mosquito bites, consider vaccination. 

Bangladesh: Poor air quality in Dhaka and other cities, minimise exposure 

Cambodia: Human case of bird flu in Prey Veng province, avoid contact with birds 

China: Mpox cluster confirmed, monitor for developments 

India: Guillain-Barre syndrome in Pune (Maharashtra state), maintain hygiene, choose safe food and water Japan: Increase in respiratory illnesses, ensure vaccinations are up to date, follow hygiene measures 

New Zealand: Increasing pertussis, check vaccination status 

Pakistan: Poor air quality in several urban centres, minimise exposure

Philippines: Increased dengue activity, avoid mosquito bites 

Samoa: Whooping cough outbreak, check vaccination status 

South Korea: Potential delays in accessing healthcare 

Taiwan (China): Increase in seasonal influenza, ensure vaccination is up to date, follow hygiene measures 

Thailand: Increase in seasonal influenza, ensure vaccination is up to date, follow hygiene measures. Reduced air quality, minimise exposure. 

Tonga: Dengue outbreak reported, avoid mosquito bites 

Vanuatu: Influenza-like-illness on Efate Island, follow hygiene measures, ensure vaccination is up to date Vietnam: Increase in measles, ensure vaccination is up-to-date 

Portugal: Dengue detected in Madeira, avoid mosquito bites 

Turkey: Increase in illness linked to contaminated alcoholic drinks in Istanbul, choose beverages carefully 

United Kingdom: Human bird flu infection in West Midlands, avoid contact with infected animals. Increasing norovirus, follow hygiene measures. 

Morocco: Increase in measles, ensure vaccination is up to date 

Saudi Arabia: Health recommendations for travel during Hajj and Umrah, abide by entry requirements 

South Sudan: Mpox infections, avoid contact with sick people 

Syria: Increase in leishmaniasis infections, use insect repellent, avoid sand fly bites
