The Air Rescue Team of FEMERAID International informs all our members, Knights and Dames of the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Federation of the Autonomous Priories (KMFAP) about the followings:
In July, the head office of FEMERAID International issued several crucial health warnings. We highlighted the presence of diseases like Mpox in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and neighbouring countries, as well as yellow fever in Nigeria, etc.
However, three diseases stood out as global concerns due to their widespread presence: measles, polio and dengue fever. Fortunately, vaccines are available to prevent measles and polio, offering a significant defence against these infections.
On the other hand, avoiding dengue requires vigilant protection against mosquito bites, which can be more challenging.
If you plan to travel during the holidays, be sure to check the health alerts related to your destination and make sure you get the necessary vaccines at least two weeks before departure. Taking these precautions will help protect your health and ensure a safer journey.
