The Knights of our Sovereign Order, Sir Gyula Braun and Sir Károly András Nagy were received in the Mayor's Office in the city of Gyula, Hungary on 22 January 2007 where they met Mr. Péter Ficzere (aged 8) and his mother, who received from our Order a donation of HUF 500 thousand (EUR 2 thousand) as contribution to the expenses of Péter's medical treatment. The amount has been offered by Hungarian Knights and Dames. Péter had an accident and suffered a serious spine injury and became motor disabled. A few weeks ago he had surgery in Kiev, Ukraine and hopefully he is on the way to recovery. He needs a long-lasting medical treatment, which is very expensive. Every support and donation is welcome. Our Order will keep in touch with the family and will follow up developments.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Klára Perjési, Mayor of Gyula, Member of the Hungarian Parliament and also by members of the Local Government. Present were the representatives of the local and regional press and TV. The event was well covered by the media, following a press conference given by our Knights.
