Snippet from FEMERAID International Air Rescue as of 22 July 2021
The Air Rescue Team of FEMERAID International informs all our members, Knights and Dames of the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Federation of the Autonomous Priories (KMFAP) about the followings:

We are exhausted by the COVID-19 pandemic… and we have a wake-up call from health professionals, particularly those who work in Intensive Care Units.

According to a study carried out in 7 countries, 48% of frontline professionals suffered from depression, insomnia and post-traumatic stress disorders, especially among those who wore personal protective equipment on duty for more than 6 hours a day.

The CDC released a report today that said at least 1.5 million children have been orphaned so far, due to the COVID-19, with the highest incidences in India, Peru, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia. Two to five times more children have deceased fathers (often the breadwinners in these countries) than deceased mothers. However, in many cases, certainly in too many cases, a relevant number of children lost both parents during the COVID-19 pandemic.

These are very sad facts to be considered and should be enough to convince people about the benefits of vaccination.

Keep healthy and stay safe.
